Warriors For Humanity Plant Trees For Balcas

This year for #NationalTreeWeek – rather than just talk about the trees we harvest sustainably and how they help us achieve our own carbon emission targets, we wanted to throw some focus the way of a great project underway in Kenya.

Warriors for Humanity are on a mission to plant 1 million trees in East Africa resulting in 31,250 tonnes of carbon being removed. Balcas Energy customers are helping plant these trees with each order made during our own #GreenWeek.
As well as carbon reduction, this project has the additional benefits of providing food, income, shelter, and tools for communities in Kenya affected by climate change.
