International Women’s Day
We’ve enjoyed a variety of activities to mark #internationalwomensday including a health check clinic, floral arrangements and the opportunity to share our ideas over a lovely lunch (albeit virtually) of what we can do in Balcas to continue empowering each other.
It also proved a fitting opportunity to present our new charities with their opening donation for 2022.
Sarah visited Adele at Ross-shire, Skye & Lochalsh Women’s Aid and Kerrie from Fermanagh Women’s Aid called to collect a cheque from Barbara in order to help continue their vital work.
Balcas is pledging to resume its legendary fundraising activities this year in order to support our own ladies through team building but also for the women of our communities. #IWD2022
