Employee Of The Month – May

Kazys Vaupsas is our EOTM thanks to his positive attitude to work, and enthusiasm for improving productivity.

Over recent months, Kazys who is our CAE MillHost Technician has performed particularly well in the following areas:

Spent significant amounts of time in the evenings mentoring/training new MillHost operative on night shift,
Has recently been trained on the Lumber Track system and actively driven improvement in this area across both shifts,
Has worked hard on his NEBOSH Health and Safety qualification and has provided useful safety improvement ideas since this training.

Kazys has been with Balcas since 2006 and is notable both for his friendly disposition and being a genuine pleasure to work with. In his own words, he has been totally focused on his progression within Balcas and cementing his place within the wider community through active participation.
