Kildare takes the Balcas Cup
Thanks to everyone who participated in our 18th Annual Golf Day at Enniskillen Golf Club on Saturday. It was fabulously well supported and I think it’s fair to say that we all had an excellent day.
Congratulations to Peter Burton from Balcas, Kildare who was the overall winner of the Balcas Cup for staff, scoring 37pts off his 17 handicap.
Second place went to last year’s winner, Gary Colhoun from our brites division. Gary scored 33pts playing off 18.
Just to keep the prizes geographically spread, it was Andrew Campbell, our Scottish brites representative, who came 3rd also with 33pts playing off his 4 handicap.
The best Balcas guest was Malcolm Bramley who shot an excellent 40pts playing off 19.
The overall winner of the major club event of the day, The Balcas Open, was local forester and friend of Balcas, Ian Thompson who scored 41pts off his 13 handicap.
